Yoga a guide to live every moment ! A true union of our will with the will of God

The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root yuj,
which means “to join” or “to yoke”.


Yoga is a practical philosophy and, not a religion. Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. For these three to be integrated, emotion, action, and intelligence must be in balance.The continued practice of yoga leads to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being a one who belongs to environment or nature.The ultimate goal of yoga is to achieve self realization and self-development. It is a continuous process of creating a synergy between inside and outside world, which brings zeal and enthusiasm to live each moment of this present life. It heals and transform not only body but soul as well and therefore it says :


Unlike stretching or fitness, yoga is more than just physical postures. Patanjali’s eight-fold path illustrates how the physical practice is just one aspect of yoga. Even within the physical practice, yoga is unique because we connect the movement of the body and the fluctuations of the mind to the rhythm of our breath. Connecting the mind, body, and breath helps us to direct our attention inward. Through this process of inward attention, we learn to recognize our habitual thought patterns without labeling them, judging them, or trying to change them. We become more aware of our experiences from moment to moment. The awareness that we cultivate is what makes yoga a practice, rather than a task or a goal to be completed. Our body will most likely become much more flexible by doing yoga, and so will your mind.

Thus ultimate combination of healthy body and mind will cultivate higher efficiency level which ultimately leads to extraordinary achievement. eg : Steve Jobs,Narendra Modi or success in our own lifes.The sutras show us how to be our true selves and appreciate every moment—
even when life gets crazy.The true value of yoga is found when you apply it to your daily life—especially in those messy moments. The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, widely regarded as the authoritative text on yoga, is not just for contemplating on the mat. The sutras are meant to be put to the test and practiced in your work, leisure time, and in your role as a parent, partner, and friend. Yeah it is comprehensive guide which teaches us ART OF LIVING.

Restraining mental modifications from fluctuations of conscious !

Citta denote mind in its collective sense consists of three categories : individual indecisive mind ,intellect a decisive mind and lastly ego or ahankar. Yoga practice leads to creating equilibrium between these three aspects. It is process which evolves ,reinforce and enhanced the human existence. It ultimately leads to balance of mind and mind ca be trained by constant practice (abhyas) and freedom from desire. Its all about enjoying the process of reaching the ultimate goal of life. Yama and Niyam controls yogis passion and emotions. Asanas keep the body healthy and strong and in harmony with nature.As it is well said “A healthy body has healthy mind”. In this case our body is vehicle and equilibrium of mind is the destination….. to achieve great efficiency level, intellect or perfection.

Mind is king of senses. One who conquers mind ,senses, thought and reason is a king among mankind.

And ultimately fit for RAJA YOGA. The royal union with universal spirit …. He has light of his own!
